Terms and Conditions of Use — Dotty

1. Ownership

The Dotty mobile application is owned by Devinet 2013, S.L.U., Tax ID B66111550, located at C/ Vallseca, 8, Bajos (local), 08024 Barcelona, Spain, email [email protected].

2. Description of the App

Dotty is an educational application for iOS and Android designed to support reading, handwriting, calligraphy and tracing practice through educational worksheets and annotation tools. On compatible devices, practice may be carried out with a finger, Apple Pencil or other compatible digital styluses.

The App allows users to practice on worksheets and PDFs, create custom worksheets, export and print PDFs, and share certain content through links.

3. Registration and accounts

To use the App, users must create an account using email and password, Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through their account.

4. Minors

Dotty is intended for educational use and may be used by minors under the supervision of parents, legal guardians or teachers. Account creation and acceptance of these terms must be carried out by persons over 14 years of age or by the minor’s legal representatives.

5. Free version and Dotty Pro

Dotty offers a limited free version and a one-time purchase called Dotty Pro. Dotty Pro is not a subscription and unlocks additional features, including full access to the practice plan, unlimited custom worksheets, unlimited export and printing, full import of shared worksheets and use on compatible iOS and Android devices.

6. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed through the relevant store depending on the platform used: Apple App Store on iOS and Google Play on Android. Devinet 2013, S.L.U. does not store banking or payment card data. Refund requests must be managed directly with Apple or Google, as applicable, according to their respective policies.

7. User-generated content

Users may create and store custom texts within the App. Users confirm that they have the necessary rights to such content and that the content does not infringe third-party rights and is not unlawful or offensive. Users retain ownership of the content they create.

8. Content sharing

The App may allow users to generate public links to share certain texts or worksheets. Anyone with the link may access the shared content. Users are responsible for the content and distribution of shared links.

9. Permitted use

Users must not use the App for unlawful purposes, introduce malware or malicious code, infringe third-party rights, interfere with the operation of the App or use it fraudulently. Devinet 2013, S.L.U. may suspend accounts that breach these rules.

10. Intellectual property

All rights to Dotty, including design, code, interface, worksheets, graphic elements and educational materials, belong to Devinet 2013, S.L.U. or its licensors.

11. Export and printing

The App allows PDFs to be generated locally on the user’s device. The user is responsible for the use, storage and distribution of those files.

12. Third-party services

The App uses third-party services such as Firebase, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Apple StoreKit/App Store and Google Play Billing/Google Play. Use of these services may involve data processing in accordance with their own policies.

13. Service availability

The App is provided “as is” and may be modified, updated or interrupted at any time. Continuous availability or complete absence of errors is not guaranteed.

14. Educational liability disclaimer

Dotty is an educational support tool and does not replace professional pedagogical supervision.

15. Account deletion

Users may request account deletion from within the App. Certain data may be retained for legally required periods or in technical backups.

16. Changes

Devinet 2013, S.L.U. may modify these terms at any time. Relevant changes may be notified within the App or on the website.

17. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law.
