1. Data controller
The data controller is Devinet 2013, S.L.U., Tax ID B66111550, located at C/ Vallseca, 8, Bajos (local), 08024 Barcelona, Spain, email [email protected].
2. Personal data processed
Dotty may process account data, authentication data, custom texts, categories, learning progress, completed worksheets, Dotty Pro status, purchase data, transaction identifiers, technical events, usage information, crash reports and App performance information.
3. Purposes of processing
Data is used to provide the service, manage accounts, store progress and content, verify purchases, restore purchases, improve stability and performance, detect technical errors, provide support and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
The legal basis for processing is performance of the App usage contract, user consent, legitimate interest in improving the security and operation of the service, and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Third-party services
The App uses Firebase Authentication, Firebase Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Performance, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Apple StoreKit/App Store and Google Play Billing/Google Play.
6. Analytics and performance
Dotty uses analytics and diagnostic tools to improve the App, detect failures and measure performance. Personalized ads and IDFA for advertising are not used.
7. Content sharing
Users may generate public links to share certain content. Anyone with access to the link may view the shared content, which may include title, text and category.
8. PDF export
PDFs generated by the App are created locally on the user’s device. Dotty does not automatically upload those PDFs to its own servers unless the user expressly performs such an action.
9. Data retention
Data will be retained while the user account exists, while necessary to provide the service, or during legally required retention periods.
10. Account deletion
Users may request account deletion from within the App. Some data may temporarily remain in technical backups, necessary logs, or where there is a legal obligation to retain it.
11. User rights
Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to [email protected]. Users may also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
12. Minors
Minors must use the App under the supervision of a responsible adult, parent, legal guardian or teacher.
13. Security
Dotty adopts reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information against unauthorized access, loss or alteration.
14. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. The current version will be available in the App or on Dotty’s official website.
